For our team in Karachi we require a Systems and Network Administrator;
Job Description: He/she will be responsible for administration and maintenance of company’s internal systems, configuration and set-up of all new server systems as well as perform and/or oversee software and application installation and upgrades in a cloud and non-cloud environment.
The candidate would be required to work in a team and responsibilities may include the following;
- Performing routine audits of systems and software
- Performing backups
- Installing operating system updates and configuration changes
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software
- Answering technical queries.
- Responsible for system security.
- Responsible for documenting system configuration.
- Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Fresh candidates with sound knowledge of Windows/Linux Servers are welcome to apply. Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline. Certification in network (CCNA, RHEL, and MCITP) is a plus.
