JOBS at Institute for Advancing Careers and Talents (iACT)

Institute for Advancing Careers and Talents (iACT) is a not-for-profit career development center that offers innovative and futuristic career education to youth. Established in 2008 at Malir having state of the art campus in 2.5 acres land, iACT is a public-private partnership project between Habib University Foundation (H.U.F.) and the local Government f Karachi (formerly CDGK). At the institute, we aim to facilitate youth for better career prospects by imparting technical skills, personal development skills and groom them personally and professionally for industrial and social enterprise. 

We are looking for energetic and committed candidates on following faculty and non faculty positions.

Non Faculty Positions 

Student Affairs Coordinator 

 Leading and Managing the SAU Portfolio of Responsibilities 
 Establishing and Managing Enrolment Services of Students’ Admissions, Graduation, Attendance 
 Counseling and Careers management of students and alumni 
 Developing Students Life and Experience 
 Managing and implementing activities of Alumni 
 Participation in students’ placement 

Marketing and Relationship Coordinator 

 Design and Implementing Marketing Plans and Activities 
 Coordinate for Developing and Updating Marketing Tools 
 Responsible for Market Research and Media Management 
 Assist Students Affairs Unit for Internships and Job Placements 
 Coordination in Event Organization 
 Participate in Resource Mobilization activities 

Academic Officer 

 Design and Implement an assessment procedure for all courses 
 Proper management of all assessments 
 Close monitoring and counseling of the students along with SAU and AC 
 Manage attendance on weekly basis along with summary 
 In case of Low attendance, referring students to AC and SAU for further action 
 Manage all FGDs and make sure that all discussions get done. 
 Deal with Faculty for the issues 
 Deal with Visiting Faculty on daily basis regarding attendance and assessments 

Admin Officer 

 Manage and assist all the activities of admin unit 
 Manage the support staff 
 Responsible for the assets management 
 Co-ordinate with different suppliers for arranging quotation and supplies 
 Maintain adequate stocks of stationary and supplies and keeping the storage areas tidy 
 Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work. 

For non faculty positions, a candidate must have: 

 Minimum Qualification: For Coordinator: at least Masters (MBA will be preferred) For Officer: at least graduate 
 Minimum 2 years experience. Fresh candidate will be considered with sound relevant academic background and knowledge 
 Good communication and writing skills 
 Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced work environment 

Note: all of the non faculty positions will be on permanent basis.

Note: all of the faculty position will be on full time/part time basis. 

For Faculty Positions, a candidate must have: 

 Minimum intermediate or graduation in any field 
 At least 2 years studies in relevant field in a way of degree, diploma or certificate 
 Minimum 2 years relevant teaching experience 
 Candidate from non teaching background with at least 1 year industry experience will be preferred 
 Fresh candidate will be considered with sound relevant academic background and knowledge 
 Good communication and writing skills 
 Effective lesson planning and module development skills
