To manage IT initiatives for various company functions including but not limited to Sales, Customer Service, Admin & HR with a view to improve systems & processes through automation (other than SAP) and to lead & manage software development projects both internal & external

Working with external business partners specially principals both in short-term & long-term engagements
Key Responsibilities:
• Explore and deploy better systems while containing the IT cost
• Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems
• Prepare detailed flow charts and diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes
• Document end-user requirements, develop design documents (data structure, ERDs, screens & reports layouts), prepare project plan
• Do coding, testing, debugging according to functional specs / design documents
• Develop standards (document templates, coding standards, testing scenarios etc.) for software development life cycle and ensure compliance
• Supervise software development
• Co-ordinate with external vendor / developer for outsourced
software projects, do project planning & execution
• Maintain source code for all IT applications & its backup (onsite + offsite)
• Manage web-portals (intranet & corporate website) for up-to-date contents & design
• Perform processes related to customer services like monthly
target management of PDSS and ensure timely deployment of Sales targets to field CBD and CS&L
• Represent IT in JBP & other forums internally and / or externally
• Provide 2nd level functional support for IT applications
• Conduct trainings and workshops
• Layout communication plans
Net based computer languages: C-sharp, ASP under Visual Studio & SQL Server 2005/2008.
Operating Environment Context:
This job is placed in Head Office. Requires interaction with CM, Lead Team Subordinates and Peers
Communications and Working Relationships:
Close contact and communications throughout the IT division, communication with CS&L, CBD, HR & Admin
Frameworks, Boundaries and Decision Making:
Coordinate and carry out responsibilities within the parameters of the
organizational procedures and guidelines.
Knowledge and Skills (Required by the Job):
Computer science graduate with software development & project management experience.
