Responsibilities:
Database administrator must have professional qualities of Team Oriented, Goal Driven, Self Starter, Deadline Targeted and Deliver Results with the aim to fulfill the following responsibilities:
• Managing Production, Test, UAT and Development databases
• Oracle RAC and Data-Guard Management
• Database Performance Tuning and Monitoring
• Backup Management
o Backup Using RMAN
o Hot backup
o Cold backup
• Recover and Restore Databases
• Installation and Configuration of Databases and different related tools
• Oracle DB Software and Database cloning
• Troubleshoot Database Problems
• Standby Database Management
Knowledge, skills and other characteristics:
Besides following candidate must have excellent analytical skills:
• Well versed with database handling specially Oracle
• Hands-on Oracle 10g/11g DBA experience
• Experience Installing, administering, upgrading and maintenance of Oracle 10g/11g databases
• Experience with monitoring and tuning the database for optimal performance
• Plan and implement the backup and recovery procedures using RMAN
• Strong in SQL performance tuning and Database tuning
• Good Communication Skills and Team Player
• Willing to work in a challenging environment
System Administrator
Experience: Fresh – 1 Year
Degree: BS/MCS/MIT degree from a highly respected HEC enlisted local/foreign institution with excellent ranking
Responsibilities:
System administrator must have professional qualities of Team Oriented, Goal Driven, Self Starter, Deadline Targeted and Deliver Results with the aim to fulfill the following responsibilities:
• Hardware Configuration and Administration
• OS administration
• SAN Administration
• Backup & Recovery
• Up-gradation and patching
• Performance Tuning
Knowledge, skills and other characteristics:
Besides following candidate must have excellent analytical skills:
• Familiarity with any Unix Based Operating Systems
• Familiar with most basic system administration tools and tasks. For example, can cleanly boot and shutdown the system, add and remove user accounts, use backup programs, perform fsck and maintain system database files (groups, hosts, aliases, etc.)
• Fundamental understanding of the functioning of the Unix operating system: for example understands job control, hard and soft linking, the difference between shell programs and kernel programs.
• Basic understanding of Unix security procedures
• Good Communication Skills and Team Player
• Willing to work in a challenging environment

• Build Control installation

• T24 Special Package Installations
• T24 Upgrades
• Liaison with T24 help desk for troubleshooting
Knowledge, skills and other characteristics:
Besides following candidate must have excellent analytical skills:
• Familiarity with any Unix Based Operating Systems
• Basic concepts of Database Management Systems
• Concepts of programming / shell scripting
• Familiar with Web Based application architecture
