Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with Company Audit Committee, Senior Management, and
Internal Controls Department to understand the control environment and develop
an audit plan.
Manage and execute audit reviews to ensure that controls across
key business cycles are in place and operating effectively.
Manage and participate in the entire audit process (planning
schedule, execution, and audit report) to ensure the audit team focuses on the
highest risk areas. Determines additional testing to be performed to adequately
quantify exceptions for reportable audit issues.
Report audit issue identified during the review to Company Senior
Management and Audit Committee and recommend changes to business processes and
procedures that enhance and improve operational efficiency or the control
environment.
Review work papers prepared during the audits, and ensure audit
issues are adequately supported and work papers are in accordance with
Company's document retention standards. In addition, ensures that strict
confidentiality is maintained on all audit assignments.
Manage and execute special projects, as assigned by Company
Management. This includes verification of distributor claims, Leaf Buying
Process, and POSM and Finished Goods stock takes.
Develop subordinates to enhance bench strength of the IC team.
Provide coaching and specific developmental goals for each audit staff.
