Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Trainee Diet Technician

Responsibilities

Trainee will be required to perform a variety of clinical and non-clinical assignments in connection with clinical nutrition care. This will include maintaining records and statistics of meals served & nutritional counseling provided, examining diet orders and cross-checking them with meal slips and daily menus, etc.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics with majors in Nutrition & Food Management or B.Sc (Hons.) in Human Nutrition (Four years after F.Sc) or M.Sc / M.Phil in Human Nutrition;
-Good interpersonal and communication skills;
-Must possess computer proficiency, especially in MS Office.

Selected trainees will be given a monthly stipend upon successful completion of the training programme and, based on availability of vacant positions, full-time employment may be offered.
