Objective:

To ensure that IN-VAS Operations & Maintenance is carried out in the most efficient & effective manner in coordination with Managed Services

Main Responsibilities:

Managing Ericsson’s IN-VAS O&M team to deliver KPIs and auditing network critical faults and revenue affecting incidents

Coordination and follow up with vendor support and various Warid functions for all business affecting operational, projects & design issues.

Streamlining operations processes and SLA management for different 3rd party vendors

Daily/weekly/monthly collection and formulation of various network performance indicators (like Down Time, Repetitive Alarms and routine checks etc) for reporting to management

Assist Operations Head in technical evaluation of REPs, contracts evaluation, introduction of new services, and managing their testing and implementation during different project phases while coordinating externally with services/equipment vendors and other operators/organizations and internally with other Warid departments.

Establish plans for the competence development of team members in their respective fields along with the areas like communication skills, taking initiatives, interpersonal skills and team coordination as well.

Education Required:

Degree in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics Engineering or equivalent

Experience Required:

8 years of experience in IN/VAS Operations & Maintenance/ Implementation / Integration / Support or testing environment.

Worked at managerial/team lead level

Skill Set Required:

Good knowledge of IN-VAS network

Good knowledge of GSM network topology

Good knowledge about network operations/implementation/integration

Good in analytic and investigation techniques

Focused on network (service) performance

Good communication skills

Excellent team player

Able to work independently

Ensure that there are not more than 1% sites halted in the Warid network at any given time. Taking full ownership of getting the halted sites to be operational in as less time as possible.

Education Required:

B.Sc Engineering or equivalent

Experience Required:

More than 12 years of experience with at least 08 years relevant (Site Acq/site build) experience preferably in the telecom industry

Skill Set Required:

Good communication skills (written and oral)
Good negotiation skills with site owners & different govt. agencies with proven track record
