Head Corporate Investment Banking (CIBG)
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 10 years in commercial Banking in relevant Area
Organization: Local commercial Bank
Education: Masters in Business Studies

Key Responsibilities
• Generation of revenues for the Corporate Banking division from debt capital market
transactions.
• Drive the business into a lead arranger role for debt capital markets deals across the
region.
• Drive the expansion of the corporate finance/investment banking business by identifying
and developing new areas of growth.

• In conjunction with the corporate banking team leverage off the bank's customer base in
order to originate debt capital markets mandates.

• Development of financing structures that is responsive to customers' needs.

• Cro~ selling of the Bank's products and services to sustain long term profitability from
each relationship.

• Lead and coordinate execution of transactions through all stages from inception to close.

• Development a high functioning corporate finance team.
• Spreading of credit risk through loan syndication.
• Managing the relationships with the market regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.

Head Credit and Risk
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 10 years in commercial Banking in relevant Area
Organization: Local commercial Bank
Education: Masters in Business Studies
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain an effective and professional credit control policy and procedures. Implement enhancements where required.

• Manage the credit and analysis for new customers based on the available information including financial statements, external information agencies and trading experience.

• Set and monitor credit limits and acceptable terms for all customers based on available information and market demands in close cooperation with Marketing & Sales.

• Decide where it is appropriate / necessary to seek risk mitigation through secured payments, guarantees and/or credit insurance. Work closely with the sales managers to obtain the security while still maintaining good customer relationships.

• Work closely with Treasury to ensure bank credit risk arising from LCs and bank guarantees are acceptable.

• Manage the periodic re-review process to ensure in-house credit information is up to date and limits are in line with each customer’s current situation.

• Resolve all problems for clients, copy invoices, proof of delivery, credit notes, and liaise internally to progress any problems that are being handled in any other department.

• Visit major and high-risk customers to build personal relationships, assess their operations and gather information.

• Where required, work closely with Legal to initiate proceedings to ensure outstanding debts are brought to satisfactory conclusion. Instruct collection agencies and / or solicitors.




Head Cash Management
Location: Karachi
Experience: Minimum 10 years in commercial Banking in relevant Area
Organization: Local commercial Bank
Education: Masters in Business Studies
Key Responsibilities

• Accurately account for all financial cash transactions, invest excess cash within acceptable parameters and work to optimize this asset

• Develop existing global forecasting techniques ensuring maximum accuracy

• Take responsibility for financial reporting around cash management

• Manage various debt obligations and ensure timely operational payments to related branches and outside 3rd parties.

• Establish and control a robust global hedging strategy

• Involve strong interaction throughout the organization with key stakeholders.
