Essential Requirements:
- Recent experience in accounting/financial reporting
- Recent Experience in Multinational Telecom Operator Company OR
Multinational/Large FMCG Company OR Big-4 Audit Company
- Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience (for CA candidates),
minimum 10 years (for ACCA/CMA candidates), and minimum 12 years (for
MBA candidates)
The ideal candidate should:
-- Hold a MBA Finance /ACA/ACCA/FCMA degree
-- Have minimum 5 years of experience (for CA candidates), minimum 10
years (for ACCA/CMA candidates) and 12 years (for MBA candidates)
Job Description:
-- Supervise and finalize monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reports
-- Supervise and finalize quarterly and annual statutory financial accounts
-- Be responsible for consolidation of subsidiaries accounts with parent company
-- liaise with External Auditors for quarterly and annual
reviews/audits and to get their opinions for group reporting package
and statutory accounts
-- Be responsible for overall supervision of general accounting and
general ledger
-- Be responsible for supervision of subsidiary (6 in nos.) accounting
teams and look after/review their monthly/quarterly/annual group
reports and statutory accounts
-- liaise and interact with external parties including government
bodies and internal customers related to finance and accounting
-- Provide advice related to accounting implications on different
business transactions including complex financial instruments
transactions
-- Manage finance projects and coordinate with other departments for
finance related projects
-- Ensure effective team management of fairly large number of staff
-- Effectively deal with insurance company to obtain and run different
insurance programs required for the company (including its
subsidiaries)
Essential Skills:
-- Have strong command over International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
-- Have strong command over financial reporting requirements according
to Companies Ordinance 1984
-- Fair knowledge of Income Tax and Sales Tax
Desirable Skills:
-- Have strong communication skills both in English and Urdu
-- Should have good presentation skills
-- Be a good people manager with an experience of managing minimum
team of 25-30 people
-- Should be proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel and Word
-- Should have fair knowledge of Oracle Financials and Hyperion
software for consolidation
