POSITION TITLE Director Quality Assurance
POSITION BASED IN Jeddah – Saudi Arabia

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE· Masters degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy and 15 years at least directly related to a pharmaceutical solid dosage manufacturer and quality operations with personnel supervision and departmental management experience.· This person must have a demonstrated record of successful interaction with regulatory agencies and other internal and external auditing groups.· Demonstrated experience with advanced statistical analysis, raw materials, laboratory and chemical testing/manufacturing, an understanding of technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects of pharmaceutical products, ability to perform internal and external audits and excellent technical writing skills.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES· Lead a team of Managers involved in planning, performing and follow up audits of CROs, external laboratories and clinical sites as well as in-house systems.
· Review Quality Assurance SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) · Ensure continuous improvement of internal quality management system (QMS) · Provide expert advice relating to the Companies internal procedures within specific departments (IT, Drug Safety, Clinical Development) · Represent Quality Assurance (QA) department in relevant circles/project teams within the Company · Offer support, advice and training to other departments involved in clinical trials and drug safety activities
