QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:University degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Technology.
Good knowledge of English language.
Good knowledge of ISO quality system and QCMS, HACCP standards.
Good knowledge of the Food Safety regulations, policies and procedures.
Good understanding of Process, Production, Development and Information systems operating in the Category.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Minimum 4 - 7 years experience in QA.
Analytical and/or micro lab experience.
People management experience.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Quality Management System
Establish and maintain a Quality management system (ISO) as part of Plant’s systems to manage product quality and plant safety, security and environment in a way, which ascertains continuous improvement of quality KPI's (e.g. GMP, consumer/Trade and BU complaints).
Legal and Corporate Requirements
Ensure Food Safety of all manufactured products by implementing the relevant legal and corporate requirements (e.g. HACCP, QCMS) and by continuous verification of the compliance and effectiveness of installed systems.
Analysis
Assure Quality by testing all relevant (chemical, physical, microbiological, sensor) properties of established and new raw materials, packaging materials, processes, semi-finished and finished products in accordance with ISO-Manual, HACCP system, legislation and internal documents (recipes, specifications etc.) and by continuous improvement of quality and process in collaboration with Manufacturing.
People Management
Manage QA department’s team by setting goals to direct reports and assessing their performance, coach, co-ordinate and monitor regularly their activities.
Cross-functional Activities
Manage and co-ordinate cross-functional and cross-department activities, knowledge and information exchange in order to ensure consistent approach to all aspects of quality and food safety. Coach peers in quality and food safety related subjects.
Crisis Situations
Manage crisis situations internally as well as externally in a way that is supportive to the company's image, relevant policies and business objectives.
Budgeting
Ensure proper planning and monitoring of the department’s budget, plan investments, prepare appropriation requests.
