Senior Accountant – Retail Banking Services
Job Purpose
o Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly MIS reports for the Retail business
o Participate in the sales target setting process
o Support in setting product pricing strategy
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
MIS Reporting
o Prepare and review weekly sales tracking reports
o Prepare monthly and quarterly retail financial reporting package for the Senior Management on product profitability against the budget and retail business financial performance against the budget.
o Assist in market / competitor insight, rates forecast, trading review and market share / market growth analysis
o Assist in performing regular pricing reviews
Personal Profile
o Good knowledge and experience in preparing MIS reports for retail banking
o Must possess good knowledge and experience in extracting data from various sources, including general ledger, enterprise data warehouse, SAS tools and various other retail product account management source systems
o Must have very good understanding of retail products from financial perspective
o ACA / Part qualified ACA with university degree in finance, management or related subjects
o Minimum 3-4 years experience working in similar capacity with a reputable bank
o Motivated and self starter with ability to meet tight deadlines
o Must have ability to analyze data and provide insightful feedback
o Effective communication / presentation skills
o Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
