The Role

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced and accomplished Aviation & Logistics Business Development professional to lead business development activity for our client.

This challenging and exciting role offers overall accountability for the leadership, design and implementation execution of a business development strategy relating to aviation and logistics opportunities in emerging Iraq, Afghanistan and African markets.

The role incorporates full responsibility for new client acquisition, marketing and sales development primarily in the Middle East & Africa region and the wider international aviation industry.

The successful candidate will personally drive new client acquisition, advance existing client relationships to enhance revenue generation and leverage own/non-company network to establish and capitalise on new growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will also lead and direct all team activity relating to RFP responses and preparation of client proposals, marketing material. They will lead all interaction with prospective clients to deliver presentations of new business initiatives.

Full relationship management of key existing, new and prospective clients.

Candidate Requirements

The role-holder will be an Aviation and Logistics professional with substantive experience of sales, business development and marketing in the international aviation and/or logistics sector.

A working knowledge of military and civilian aircraft, fixed wing and rotary, passenger and cargo is an advantage. The role holder will project gravitas sufficient to professionally interface with civilian and military agencies to further develop brand awareness and business opportunities.

He/she will be able to evidence significant success in developing new business opportunities and creating business development proposals relating to high value, complex opportunities in the aviation and logistics industry including US Government compliance.
