Job Purpose:
- Responsible for assisting the Head Of Own brands in identifying, following up & delivering own brands, in agreement with the MCCPK targets
- Liaison with category managers, store / field operations, TGM and QA in order to implement the OB development process.
Job Dimensions:
- Involves in the Quality process in order to assure a constant quality level
- Manages follow-up Sales, Profitability, Packaging costs
Key Responsibilities and Measurement:
Strategy
- Ensure delivery of Own Brands on shelf in line with the country strategy
- Identify new categories & projects in liaison with the Category managers and TGM
Supplier
- Initiate and control tendering process
- Work closely on supplier development
- Keep supplier landscape information available ready for designated categories.
- Must follow up, maintain and deliver Own Brand process externally and internally.
Customer
- Develop and utilize customer insights through TGM
- Identify trends & opportunities by analyzing customer portfolio tracking
- Keep up to date with the Core assortment ranges.
Market
- In close relation with Marketing, monitor competition benchmark in terms of assortment positioning:
- Width and depth
- Pricing & Quality positioning
- Promotion / Communication activities
- Assist the management in pricing decisions.
Assortment
- Follow up for each Customer Group align with Buyers / Category Managers: products to create, to optimize, to stop
- Ensure product availability & reduce stock out situations.
Quality
- Help and support QA in identifying quality parameters to be adhered to.
- Follow up with TGM to execute product tests with select customer panels.
Packaging
- Maintain an effective data bank of packaging in categories planned for development.
- Evaluate and plan packaging quality, quantities in liaison with designated category manager.
Promotion Communications
- Develop and execute effective product launches in store
- Develop promotions to drive value and volumes with the targeted customer group.
- Ensure participation f OB portfolio products in Company post and other relevant mediums.
Create programs to increase awareness among internal and external customers

- Quality Assurance

- Customer Management Department
- MCCI OBI ( Strategy, scope, marketing mix) and MGBI OBM (Packaging, MMS OBM, Legal)

Skills and Experiences:
- University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management with a specialisation in Sales and / or Marketing or related subjects
- Excellent analytical skills
- Customer focus, ability to quickly grasp and adapt to the Company Cash & Carry business and how trading works
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and able to work under pressure
- Strong people management skills
- Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
