One of our Clients is looking for Safety Inspector for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE· Bachelor degree in Technology, Engineering, Sciences or a related discipline with minimum (3) three years experience as a Safety Inspector
· Others Skills: Occupational Health and safety Administration knowledge and extensive training in specialized courses /seminars on hospital safety related training programs.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES· Conduct in-depth and regular inspections and audits, reporting deficiencies with regard to all types of hazards;
· Carries out Risk Assessment and conducts Accident Investigation;
· Produces factual safety reports on conditions found, any unsafe acts or work practices indentified, any fault observed or potential hazards, supported by recommendations on how to correct these issued;
· Carries out follow up inspection to ensure remedial work has been completed and that reported faults have been rectified
· Carried out safety inspector and audits on all construction, renovation and alteration in hospital facilities to ensure that safety is not compromised and that standards are maintained or improved.
· Ensure that employees wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and adhere to safety standards and procedure;
· Audit contractors working with the hospital to ensure their practices comply with hospital standards and that they have the necessary safety practices and procedures in place, for example statements, work methods, personal protective equipment etc;
· Provides training with regard to health and safety, risk assessment, accident investigation, policies and procedures etc;
· Ensure that all departments comply with hospital standards with regard to safety;
· Perform other job related duties as required
