Job Overview:

SM Legal-Litigation and Labor Affairs:
- Manages Commercial, Civil, and Criminal Litigation.
- Formulates Strategies to conform to Legal requirements
- Coordinates with region regarding court proceedings and communicates
status of cases.
- Prepares Legal report and provides Legal advise on handling
litigation involving the company.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Litigation
- Responsible for Commercial, Civil and Criminal Litigation.
- Handles Wafaqi Mohtasib issues.
- Examine the cases and Identifies key legal issues.
- Profiling of similar or related cases.
- Prepare legal reports
- Drafts, reviews, and revises various company documents.
- Prepare legal correspondence.
- Vets the petition's/written statements etc.
- Coordination with outside counsel
- Assess the need for and role of outside counsel.
- Arranges information required by external lawyers and ensures
attendance at the courts of the company’s officials, if required in
consultation with supervisor.
- Deals with internal and external auditors.
- Formulates Strategy
- Formulate strategy according to the company policies and procedures
to conform to legal requirements that is agreed upon by the
management, in house legal department and the outside counsel.
- Liaison with Regions
- Follow up/Monitoring of Litigation at regional level.
- Liaison with regions regarding Progress of Cases.
- Checking the authenticity and discrepancies of the cases from the regions.
- Provides Legal advice
- Provides legal advice and counsel on handling litigation and other
legal matters involving the company
- Communicates status of Cases
- Keeps higher management fully informed of all new developments in
corporate legal matters, and keeps all levels of management informed
of applicable new laws and of the progress and results of court cases
all over the country

- Ensure compliance with budgets, targets, and deadlines through the
implementation of cost-efficient

Salary: 80K or more (may vary, based on candidate profile)

3)Position: Manager Operations (Submarine Cable System)
Location: Karachi
Sector: Telecom
Company type: Multinational Telecom Company
Salary Range: Rs.135K to 165K (This figure includes a car allowance)

Essential Requirements:
-- Engineering experience related to operations/maintenance of
submarine cable system
-- Currently at Manager or Assistant Manager position

Job Duties:
- Engineering In-charge for proper operation and efficient
maintenance of external installation of company submarine cable
system, security of cable / building, maintenance of building and
Power Plant / HVAC
- Responsible to arrange the Logistic support to run the
station smoothly.
- Responsible to guide Power Plant Engineer to rectify the
fault under his control.
- To ensure that proper record in respect of all stores with
receipt and issues are maintained.
- To carryout frequently inspection of cable route and keep
himself fully informed the situation of site.
- Responsible to take preventive action to keep the cable
route free from any mishap.
- Responsible to ensure that AM exercise proper control over
the patrolling staff and check that the patrolling staff are regularly
and properly patrolling the cable route, removing the defect noticed
and fully conversant with there sections.
- Responsible to do any work assigned by his superiors to him
with full responsibility and dedication.
- Responsible to liaise with City Govt. and other Civic
Agencies regarding planned development activities and take appropriate
actions as per requirement.
- Responsible for the smooth Operation & Maintenance of SDH
(Huawei) Transmission Equipments STM-1/4/16/64 and O M of SDH
transmission Link access network.
- To supervise routine system maintenance tests, carrying out
the fault localization tests and associated corrective actions of all
equipment installed in access network / back-haul in accordance to the
maintenance procedure.
- To evaluate performance procedure and maintenance efficiency.
- Responsible to elaborate transmission solutions related to
fix voice and data offers.
- Responsible for Configuration management of SDH, PDH, Data
Network equipment.
- Responsible for performance analysis, optimization after
implementation.
- To ensure availability of spares by maintaining and
updation of spare inventory, management of slack resources for access
network equipment.
- Responsible for Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) Link performance
testing both for Back –haul and access network.
- Responsible to ensure the required traffic capacity, the
quality standards and the new services offered by the company,
transmission network design and implementation follow-up, transmission
network configuration, dimensioning and optimization.
- Responsible to provide guidance to Managers / Assistant
Managers to Elaborate transmission solutions related to fixed voice
and data offers.
- Responsible to work closely with the Director (Engineering)
as well as the President / COO regarding new product design / and or
ideas.
- To perform Hardware and Software up-gradation of the system
according to Tyco recommendations.
- To evaluate system performance reports of various elements
of system for error free and optimum system efficiency for traffic
handling.


4) Position Title: Project Coordinator (Software Development)
Position Location: Lahore
Sector: IT
Company Type: Multinational Company
Candidate Age: About 25 to 29 Years
Experience: 2 Years to 6 years (or more)
Salary: 50K to 100K (or more) -- based on profile

Essential Requirements:
-- About 2 to 6 years (or more) experience as Software Development or
Junior Manager/Manager Software Develpment
[Note: Company is willing to hire more senior professionals, and to
compensate them accordingly]
-- Expertise in Project Management tools -- such as Microsoft Project
-- Experience in a Software Development company -- preferably one that
makes software products (Important: Not a company that makes
ERP/Oracle/other databases)

Role description summary:

The Project Coordinator shall organize the successful execution of
software projects and will manage project plans. The person will
benefit from having a high degree of responsibility and visibility in
the organization. This role is ideal for someone with either prior
project management experience or someone junior who wants to
ultimately advance to such a position.
