Job Title: Cost & Inventory Manager
Location: Korangi Industrial Area Karachi
A leading Oil Manufacturing company is looking for a suitable individual with dynamic personality, having sound professional experience and excellent analytical and interpersonal skills for the position of the Cost & Inventory Manager. Person shall be responsible for managing cost and inventories at its plant located at Korangi Industrial Area and shall also be responsible for reporting Production and inventory management activities to Manager Finance and Accounts, Factory Manager, Production Manager, and site management team
Key Responsibilities:
- Product costing – prepare and subsequently validate product costing for new products, product changes
- Stock counting – oversee and validate periodical stock counts – to include pallets and trays.
- Supervision of day to day activities of the factory accounting function.
- Calculation of daily factory yield, to include investigation work where required.
- Planning – work closely with the planning function to ensure that systems are comparable, stock levels, usage and yields.
- Ensure that financial and inventory controls are in place across the factory, which are in accordance to the company’s policy
- Report shortages, overages and all inventory levels monthly for replenishment.
- Responsible for classifying, labeling and warehousing all inventory for future use.
- Responsible for communicating with all department managers and purchasing on inventory levels and locations.
- Responsible for maintaining record of all transfers and disposal.
- The inventory professional must implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage and inventory obsolesce
- Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts including sales, purchases, stocks, expenses
- Responsible for assisting in the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming inventory purchases.
- The employee must complete physical inventory counts as required by company policy and reconcile the inventory records for a complete and accurate count.
Minimum Qualification and experience
Minimum qualification ACMA/CA Inter or equivalent
Minimum 03 years of work experience in Cost & Management with manufacturing organization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable working with Inventory management and Costing/Production System.
Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs and data analysis.
