PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE· Masters Degree in Marketing / International Relations / Public Health / Administration with 8 – 10 years experience in relevant field preferably donor liaison & communication, proposal and report writing, media relations, business development or external relations
· Excellent English comprehension and writing
· Proven relationship building skills and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a wide variety of people and organisations.
· Report and Proposal writing skills
· Time management skills
· Knowledge of Reproductive Health would be great.
· Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and conflict management skills. Including cross-cultural skills.
· Ability to work cooperatively with individuals and groups
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES· Develop country-specific donor strategies, engage donor representatives, lead project designs including teaming, identify and avail funding opportunities, develop first class proposals and budgets and strengthen the capacity of the company
· Timely submission of reports to the donors as per requested schedule and requirement for ongoing funding per donor requirements and ensure compliance to reporting format and project log-frame.
· Coordinate donor visits and MSI partner visits, develop donor presentations and related documents for donors and other stake holders, prepare donor profiles, and maintain records of current and future proposals.
· Attend donor meetings and liaise with Government of Pakistan and other organizations per company policy and approach.
· Advise on donor priorities and identify specific opportunities: Identify, pursue and successfully capitalise on funding opportunities
· Research and analyse donor calls for funding applications including tenders, expressions of interest and requests for proposals.
· Advise on potential partnerships with other NGOs and identify specific opportunities
· Communicate, and strategise on, new business opportunities and approaches
· Work with relevant departments and senior management teams to develop action plans for new business opportunities.
· Research and produce internal briefs on topics and issues related to new business development (e.g. donor profiles, partner organisation profiles, briefings for meetings and conferences)
· Develop successful proposals and budgets
· Ensure positive and strong donor and host government relations
· Strengthen internal new business development capacity
· Assist GM Communications in regular compilation, publishing and distribution of annual performance reports among all relevant stakeholders
· Asst. GM Communications in building strong linkages and communication channels/forums within the organization
· Developing and supervising company’s public relations strategy which includes determining target audiences, identifying channels, developing messages, and monitoring the company’s communication efforts.
· Prepare presentations, concept papers and write brief for Managing Director and GM Communications.
· Submit monthly performance report of the submitted proposals to GM Communications
· Submit monthly work plan and performance report to GM Communications
