Graphic Designer


Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Graphic Designer.

Responsibilities
This is a challenging position with the person responsible for designing a variety of material and for enforcing the visual identity guidelines of the University and University Hospital. The material includes a range from university-wide print publications to academic books to branding material; eventually, it may extend to designing for the web.

The appointee will also work with the printers to ensure that quality specifications and timelines are met.

Requirements
•A degree from a reputable institution, preferably in Graphic Design or a related field.
•3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
•Good knowledge of a variety of programmes including QuarkXPress; Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat); and Inpage.
•Good knowledge of offset printing process;
•Ability to work independently and take the initiative;
•Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Publisher;
•Good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people;
•Good written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Urdu.
