Import / Export Officer

Candidate must be a graduate with at least 3-5 years experience in a similar capacity.
Candidate must be a graduate with at least 5 years experience in a similar capacity doing the following:

Making arrangements for import and export of goods.
Overseeing the delivery of goods to the desired terminals and warehouses.
Should have exceptional knowledge about handling port activities, custom policies, government taxes, custom duties etc.
Should have contacts with clearing and forwarding agents, freight forwarders, container terminals and container management companies.
Ensuring that goods are safely and efficiently transported, making sure that cost-effective measures are taken into account and organizing the best means of transport.
Must be aware of import/export policies and relevant government bodies
Should have strong negotiation and communication skills
Should have strong reporting skills
KPT and Customs working experience would be a plus
