State Bank of Pakistan is the most dynamic and progressive public sector organization of the country and is playing a very

Statistics and Data Warehouse Department of the State Bank of Pakistan is responsible for collection, compilation and
dissemination of statistics on economic, financial and monetary aspects most pertinent to the central banking. The Department is primarily engaged in collecting and compiling data of various periodicities on money and banking, international trade, monetary accounts, balance of payments, exchange rates, external reserves, foreign direct investment and private external debt etc. The department has a central role in providing statistical data to the Government, policymakers, academia and other stakeholders.

To further renew, build and strengthen institutional capacity of Statistics and Data Warehouse Department SBP wishes to employ self motivated, talented and result oriented youths as “Assistant Director (OG - 2)” under Statistical Officer
Training Program (SOTP). The Karachi based jobs provide excellent opportunities to those having required qualifications
and who have the ability and enthusiasm to play a key role in the future development of the Bank and make a career in the challenging environment of central banking.

Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Statistics with at least 60% marks where percentage system applies OR minimum 3.00 CGPA where GPA system applies from HEC a recognized Pakistani or a foreign university.

Computer Skills: Candidates must have adequate knowledge of MS Office, statistical

ELIGIBILITY packages and preferably database management.
CRITERIA Age: Maximum 28 years, as on last date of submission of application. Relaxable by three years


for candidates from FATA, Northern Areas (Gilgit, Baltistan) and Azad Kashmir. Degree Completion: Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply. Candidates
should have fully completed all requirements of master or equivalent degree and must attach
an attested copy of Provisional Certificate, Marks sheet / Transcript.

Eligible candidates will be required to take a comprehensive aptitude test. Candidates who

SELECTION qualify the written test will be invited to appear for interview before a Selection Board.
PROCEDURE Selection will depend on the marks obtained in the test and interview subject to observance of

Compensation Package:

• Consolidated monthly monetized salary of Rs.34, 000/- in the salary range of Rs.34,000 - 79,350. • Medical facility for self, dependent spouse and dependent children only as per Bank’s rules. • Provident Fund, Gratuity, Staff Loans & other facilities/benefits as per bank’s rules as revised from time to
time.
