A multinational Pharmaceutical is looking for a Head of R&D (Karachi Based)

Education: PhD. / M. Pharm.

Degree level: Minimum Masters degree

Age: 35 to 45 years

Skills Required:



· PhD. in Pharmacology / Toxicology / Photochemistry is preferable but candidates with M.Pharm. can also be considered.

· An experience of 8-10 years in development of different dosage forms of Herbal and allopathic medicines including neutraceuticals & herbal cosmetics.

· The ideal candidate must be fully conversant with new sophisticated Pharma manufacturing equipments and experience in analytical development will be an added advantage.

· Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem solving & decision making skills are prerequisite.



Responsibilities:



Reporting directly to COO the candidate will be responsible to:



· Supervise the overall functions of R&D including phytopharmaceutical, personal care and pharmacology / Photochemistry teams and ensure that the work delegated is properly carried out.

· Prepare and give presentations of new formulations /products and oversee the development processes of new and existing products ensuring and evaluate gap & implement new SOPs of R&D

· Analyze existing suppliers of national & international market for the purchase of raw and packaging materials for new products.

· Liaison with different Universities & research institutes for research work.
