Oracle Application Consultant
Job Description
• Leads in project planning and execution activities related to Oracle e-Business suite roll-outs, application upgrades and system enhancements
• Acts as main technical support resource for ERP applications (SSHR / R-12, CRM / OBA) implementation, and maintenance customers accounts in accordance with requirements and agreed terms
• Conducts Business process analysis, flowcharts processes, and leads users in the redesign of business processes by applying knowledge of computer capabilities to improve efficiency, lower costs, better meet business needs, and minimize customization of purchased software
• Meets with application users in order to determine the current use of application software, with the purpose of enhancing either the software itself or the processes that are involved in the use of the software
• Trains application users of (internal / external) customer on relevant applications in relation to implementation projects or as assigned by management
• Conceptualizes, writes, designs, prepares and institutes specification documents, manuals and develops relevant reports in ERP systems
• Reviews project status reports and compare against project schedules and escalates issues to timely complete projects
• Remains an active member of JC PMO for the continuous implementation and adherence of project management practices and processes
• Hires, leads and motivates technical team on assigned projects and evaluates project / individual work progress as per agreed work objectives and job criteria
Perform such duties and carry out special assignments as are entrusted by the management.
2. Oracle Developer
Job Description
• Create technical designs from business / customer requirements and engineer and develop technical solutions based on those designs.
• Prepare and test plans and test scripts
• Design, develop and implement enhancements and customizations of reports, forms and interfaces for external and internal systems.
• Prepare all relevant technical and functional documentation as part of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) process
• Coordinate with Functional / technical consultants / customers to map the requirement in system / applications
• To provide feedback on project plan and support customer on need basis
• Keep abreast with new technological development through R&D
• Develop interfaces and extracts from Oracle E-Business Suite Application Modules
