Project Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
• As a leader, manager and mentor to the project team to mobilise for the achievement of strategic objectives as outlined in the Project documents and hold meetings & actively engage in management and strategic planning and activities, providing leadership to the overall operation of the project.
• Ensure best practice and lessons learnt while working with local authorities, communities with due partnership policy, procedures and guidelines; through signing MoUs and facilitate them through monitoring and capacity building visits.
• Ensure quality, transparent and accountable programming to the communities with established mechanisms for complaints and feedback.
• Ensure women economic empowerment through improvement of infrastructure at UC level through advocacy at District & Provincial level.
• Ensure excellent internal and external communication, coordination and collaboration & strengthen the team’s capacity, Local authorities and also the community groups.
• Using the logical framework process to program planning/design, monitoring and evaluation ensure qualitative and quantitative information that provides evidence of impact and change.
• Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project & maintain activity calendars of staff.
General Qualifications/ Skills
• Having Master Degree in Social Sciences with 8 -10 years experience.
• A good supportive leader and team member with self-motivated, proven ability to take the initiative and ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
• Ability to manage a multi task work load & flexible to altering priorities in changing demands.
• Excellent written / verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills, in Sindhi & English
• Well developed written skills including proposals & reports & advocacy skills
• Analytical, budgetary and financial reporting skills, computer skills essential.
• Demonstrate a commitment to gender and diversity issues.
• Excellent knowledge of project cycle management (planning, monitoring and evaluation) especially using the Logical Framework process
• Broad understanding of international development and humanitarian issues
