HR professionals at AWT

We are looking for Rawalpindi based HR professionals for our Human Resources departments. Please refer suitable candidates as per job description below. Salary and benefits are commensurate to experience. However as a general guideline, we offer Rs 55-65K for Manager, Rs 45-55K for Deputy Manager and Rs 22-33K for AM level positions with terminal benefits of Leave encashements, gratuity , Provident Funds, Health and life insurance etc.

Area of Responsibilities
• Processing of all the matters related to the performance, learning and development, termination, retirement, transfers, promotions, disciplines, confirmations, services extensions, superannuation and other HR related issues of all senior level employees across the Askari group as per HR authority delegations.
• HR Vetting of all the matters related to the learning and development, termination, retirement, transfers, promotions, disciplines, confirmations, services extensions, superannuation and other HR related issues of mid and junior level employees from Business units as per HR authority delegations.
• Assisting in the development of staffing plans with key BU staff; interviewing and assisting in selection of candidates for key positions; managing and providing direction to recruitment efforts; and developing and maintaining vast and varied professional relationships to expand recruitment networks. Ensuring e-recruitment processes and monitoring of recruitment by Business units.
Coordination, monitoring, analysis on Group Health insurance (and Group Life insurance of the respective sectors in Askari group) with the insurance companies. This includes complete processes covering gathering employees’ up to date information for insurance, inviting insurance proposals from companies. This also includes daily basis coordination with Business Units & insurance companies on processing of claims, premium adjustments and conflict resolutions.
• Providing assistance in implementation & running of HRIS different modules in the sector Business Units including HR Buddy (Self Service Module for employees and managers), HR-Operations (For HR teams at BUs to perform HR operations in HRIS), HR Orbit (Monthly on line Management Reporting System for BUs).This further covers coordination with MIS team to further improve and removing of problems in such systems.
• Coordination with all BUs in submitting monthly HR returns and updating HR –Orbit on line.
Coordination on all matters related to government bodies which include EOBI, TEVTA, and Social Security Institutions in three provinces i.e. Sindh(SESSI), Punjab (PESSI) and NWFP (ESSI). This includes monitoring BUs in matters related to Social security and EOBI contributions as per legal requirements.
• Perform HR Post audit function along with internal audit team of HO for all Business units round the year. Ensuring compliance to policies and procedures across the group.
• Conducting compensation and benefit surveys in different industries and reporting management supported by statistical analysis and recommend appropriate measures to the management on annual basis, General salary raise preparations, provide advice to BUs and conduct statistical analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
• Hands on experience preferably at a mid level management level
• Post-graduate degree in Business Administration /HR or related discipline
• Rich experience in people’s management.
• Tactful, ability to accept criticism, tolerance, assertiveness, the ability to modify style in order to reach goals and to maintain effectiveness within changing environments and with varying responsbilities.
• Ability to lead a team of high level committed professionals. Effective in utilisation of staff and other resources. Knowledge of when, how and to whom to delegate. Appropriate allocation of decision making and other responsibilities.
• Willingness to make decisions, render judgements and take actions; decisive.
• Effectiveness in identifying problems, seeking relevant data, recognising important information and diagnosing possible causes
• Effective negotiation skills, diplomatic skills and cultural and political sensitivity.
• Ability to create and maintain a level of effective output; capacity to work hard.
• Ability to analyse, process and present numerical information, eg. financial and statistical data. Ability to propose options for action and to reach sound conclusions.
• An in-depth understanding of HR issues in complex large scale organizations
• Experience in implementing change initiatives based on organizational development studies.
• Proficient in Ms Excel , MS Word, Outlook, Power point etc
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and networking skills.
• Ability to write high quality reports.
• Adaptable, can do multitasking and good in time management.
• Proactive, persuasive, and ability to work under stress and with deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with a commitment to high quality work.
• Discretion and sensitivity in handling information about BUs and their work.
• Flexibility and low resistance to change.
