Singapore hires Pakistani developers for AI technology
Karachi: In a recent turn of events since the leading computers manufacturer HP’s announcement to exit the PC business along with HP’s recent acquisition of Autonomy for $10 billion, Singaporean investors are betting on Pakistan-based HireLabs to become a leading player in artificial intelligence technology.
HireLabs’ engine called ODNA, initially developed as an employment testing platform, has now transformed its technology architecture to account for human behavior. This will allow companies such as Oracle and SAP to start incorporating the HireLabs APIs into their technology.
Prominent investors in Singapore are supporting HireLabs’ initiatives as the company starts relocating its technology developers from Pakistan to Singapore for training on how to deliver a world-class technology. PHP developer, Umair Watao, who was previously working at Folio 3 in Karachi, is among the first to be making a 30-days trip to Singapore to consult on projects with HireLabs.
“We are determined to enhance the skills of Pakistani developers who are now ready to move away from basic web development, and are ready for building sophisticated architecture” said Saleem Qureshi, CEO of HireLabs.
