Position:  Software Testing & Quality Control Engineer City: Karachi Job type: Information Technology Commitment: Full Time Minimum experience: 2 - 5 years Minimum education: B.S. Approximate salary: Negotiable Job Description: Tester experience of large scale web based projects/products is preferred.  At least 2 years experience as Tester.  Bachelors in Computer Science/Software. Skills Required: In depth experience of writing and executing test plans and testing of all types (functional, installation, acceptance, browser compatibility, load, stress, performance, volume, regression testing). In depth experience of using testing tools for test plans and test cases management. Has to be very good in documentation, has to create test cases, test schedules, release notes, test plans, excellent in SQL queries, tracing logs, reporting bugs, documenting bugs. Must be able to create test scripts; understanding of Watir etc In depth experience of automated testing of web based applications. Extensive experience in writing and executing automated testing scripts is required. Excellent written English skills. Highly self-motivated individual with strong commitment to meet deadlines and ability to work independently. Strong analytical competence and problem solving skills. Testing experience in hosted solutions, client / server, .NET and web technologies (AJAX based) is an advantage. The candidate must be motivated to become leader and manage testing department.
